Hospice RN Monday - Friday (Denver Metro Area)

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements include a licensed RN. Experience in hospice, health care or a related field with strong organizational and people skills, and commitment to the Namaste hospice mission are essential. Reliable transportation and proof of insurance is required as we serve a 50 mile radius around the Denver Metro area. This is an excellent RN opportunity for those dedicated to providing the best end of life care.

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Has current, valid license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado.
  • Minimum of two (2) years hospice/health care experience preferred Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills

Hospice Social Worker

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: a passion for finding and accessing community resources, completing Medicaid or Medicare applications, and coordinating other aspects of a patient’s physical resource needs to assure excellence in patient care. Works together with other social workers as resource coordinator as well as maintains a small caseload. Ability to think critically in complex situations and to work productively with an interdisciplinary team for excellence in patient and family care is essential. 

Minimum requirements include:

  • Bachelor of Social Work degree
  • Two years experience in health care or related field
  • Strong organizational skills, and commitment to mission.

Clinical Services Assistant

Seeking a Clinical Services Assistant who would be responsible to support the Bereavement/Volunteer Coordinator, Director of Clinical Services, Director of Medical Records and the Director of Quality. Activities will include, but are not limited to: Report preparation, monthly clinical staff scheduling, medial records filing and scanning, maintain Volunteer personnel files , assist with bereavement/volunteer related events, and data entry.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of High School education, good computer knowledge, secretarial and medical records background preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, clinical records and office procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of office machines.
  • Accurate and thorough computer data entry and willingness to master the use of current software.
  • Effective social interaction, communication and organizational skills and the ability to perform a variety of tasks efficiently.

Community Relation Representative

 

The community relations representative develops new referral sources/accounts within his/her designated territory.  Establishes and maintains professional relationships with all referral sources.  Updates and maintains accurate accounts and contact lists in collaboration with the Marketing Assistant.  Assists with the admissions process as needed.  Coordinates/provides in-services and educational offerings to referral sources.  Participates in company events as requested.  Assists with all aspects of the patient intake process including assisting the members of the intake team and responding to customer requests and concerns.


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and related healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent communications and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary setting.
  • Self-directed, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
  • Knowledge of corporate business management, governmental regulations, CHAP standards, and private payer practices.
  • Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
